Every year Santa trades in his reindeer for a fire engine so he can visit neighborhoods all across York County! To ensure your family doesn't miss this annual tradition we've compiled a list of dates and times just for you. Please keep the following in mind when Santa and the fire truck visit your neighborhood:
1. Do not approach the fire truck! We know it's so hard to contain your excitement when you see the Big guy but please stay on the sidewalk, grass or driveway.
2. While driving Santa around to see all the good little girls and boys is a favorite activity for many of our local fire departments their main priority is to keep our community safe, so please keep in mind weather and emergencies may cause delays.
3. Updates on Santa's journey through town be sure to like and follow your local fire department's FB page.

Santa Claus will be in the area on Saturday, December 6th! Santa and his elves will be greeting kids and giving them a small treat! Starting at 10:45AM the sleigh will be in the firehouse parking lot prior to taking off for those who would prefer to meet him there, and will also stop at CABC Church on Menges Mill Rd for anyone who would like to meet him there!

Santa and his friends will be travelling in our new Rescue 66 through Franklintown Borough, Washington Township, Wellsville Borough and Warrington Township to wish everyone a happy holiday December 13th .
Santa Engine Route:
10:50am-10:55am – Whitetail Terrace (Warrington Twp.)
11:10am-11:20am - Mt Zion UM Church (Warrington Twp.)
11:30am-12:15pm - Franklintown Borough Office
12:25pm-12:35pm – Washington Township Office
12:35pm-12:45pm – Wellsville Elementary School (Wellsville)
12:55pm-1:05pm - New Bethel UM Church (Warrington Twp.)

Santa leaves the Wellsville Fire Company, heading to Rossville on Carlisle Rd to Old York Rd. Our first stop will be at Whitetail Terrace. From there, we will head up Old York Rd, turning onto Poplar Rd to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. We will leave the church on Old Mountain Rd and travel to Franklintown Borough Park. Travelling Rt. 194 (Baltimore Pike) to Ridge Rd and then onto Bentz Mill Rd, arriving at Washington Township Office. We will then proceed to Wellsville Elementary School via Wellsville Rd. We will then travel Zeigler Rd, Carlisle Rd. and Alpine Rd. to New Bethel UM Church. Our next stop will be at Mt. Airy Church on Pinetown Rd. After leaving the church, we will travel Pinetown Rd to Lily Ct and Buttercup Lane back onto Pinetown Rd. From there we will take Thundergust Mill, Squire Gratz Rd and Old York Rd to Warrington Township Park.
There must have been a lot of really good boys and girls again this year because once again Santa and the Grinch will be driving around in Jacobus borough on one of Station 18's fire truck's.
He will be here December 13th. His run will begin around dusk (5pm).

Santa's helpers will be collecting donations of non-perishable canned and boxed goods to donate to our local food bank. Please no glass items.
Santa will be touring East Prospect Borough on Dec 13. More info will be avaible on their FB page soon!

Keep an eye out for the Big Man on December 13th. Watch for a post that day with the Glympse tracking app link, this will keep you up to date on Santa’s location.
We are bringing Santa to the Penn Township residents again this year!!! This year it will be Saturday & Sunday December 13th & 14th. Attached is the planned route for this year. Please note that the times listed are estimates and may vary. We will use the Glympse App again this year. The information to access the route to follow us will be posted by Friday December 12th.
In the event of rain, we will use an altered route to hit as many developments as possible. We will post that route Friday morning December 12th based on the weather forecast.
Please note that we do not drive by every house on every street, we try to get very close. If you see that we won't be by your home, we encourage you to gather at an intersection close to your home.
Springettsbury & Spring Garden Townships
Santa is on his way!!! He had so much fun last year riding on our fire truck that he called early so he can do it again. Saturday December 13th he will be in Springettsbury Township and Spring Garden Township. He is starting at Grantley Fire station at 918 Virginia Ave at 10 AM. If you cant catch him there maybe you can catch up at one of the other locations listed below. Hope to see you there!!

HO HO HO!!! Our favorite time of year has arrived, and yet again we get to escort the big man around the community on the fire engine!
Santa plans to leave the firehouse Sunday December 14th at 3PM to visit our Carroll County area, and Sunday December 21st at 3PM to visit our York County area.
CLick the links to see the final running route for Santa, all streets are listed in order. We typically get inundated with messages and special requests for this event every year. That being said, please take a close look at the route and listen for the sirens! If your home is not covered in the route below, take a short drive to a friend’s house or nearby street to see Santa. But please do it safely. We can only cover so much in one night.

Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company
Santa Claus will once again be coming to Shrewsbury the week before Christmas. He needs to check his list (twice). Since the Reindeer need to rest up for the big night, the Shrewsbury Volunteers have offered to give him a ride around town. This year he will be riding in a sleigh behind one of our fire trucks.
We invite you to come out to wave, scream, and share in our annual tradition.
We will make every attempt to visit everyone who wants to see the Jolly ‘ole Fella. If you do not see your street on the list below, please contact info@shrewsburyfire.com or comment on our Facebook page. (Please note: Santa must stay in Shrewsbury’s area in case there is an emergency).
If, by chance, there is an emergency that the Fire Engine needs to respond to, Santa has requested to ride along and offer his assistance to those in need. In the event that happens, we have a make-up night, where we will re-visit those streets that were missed. We will try our best to keep our Facebook page updated with the latest information throughout the evenings.

Bring the kids out to see Santa! Santa will be stopping by on a firetruck! Look and listen for the apparatus! Keep an eye out for the red Santa Stop signs for stop locations!
Check the Alert Fire Company's Facebook page for updates on Santa's location. We cannot give an exact time on his arrival at stops due to many variables throughout the route.
Santa will be handing out candy canes this year. Gifts are TBD.

On Friday 19 December Santa will be coming through the Trails and Woodbine Road, and Saturday 20 December Santa will be coming through town and Delta Ridge!
