The York-Adams region offers several enchanting holiday tree tours and Christmas celebrations that capture the magic of the season. 

From historic mansions adorned with dozens of decorated trees to museums celebrating cultural heritage, these festive experiences provide perfect opportunities for family outings and holiday traditions.

See 50+ decorated trees in the beautifully decorated Warehime-Myers Mansion and the adjacent History Museum that includes our gift shop. You can also enjoy musical entertainment on select dates to get in the holiday spirit!

Festival of Trees hosted by the William C. Goodridge Freedom Center & Underground Railroad Museum

Step into the holiday spirit at the 2025 Festival of Trees, hosted at the William C. Goodridge Freedom Center & Underground Railroad Museum — a proud part of the Crispus Attucks York History & Culture Center.

This annual celebration transforms the museum into a winter wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees, each inspired by history, heritage, and holiday cheer. Visitors of all ages are invited to stroll through the festive displays and enjoy the warmth of the season while honoring York’s rich cultural legacy.

Exhibit Opening:  December 5, 2025 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Additional Exhibit Dates & Hours: December 6, 10, 13, 17, and 20 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

No tours need to be scheduled — simply stop by and enjoy!

5 Christmases at the Shriver House

You are cordially invited to take a tour of the Shriver House Museum, meticulously decorated in 1860s Christmas fashion. You’ll hear about each of the five Christmases the Shriver family spent in their home on Baltimore Street, and how the Battle of Gettysburg and the Civil War affected the holiday season.

The 45-minute tour covers all four floors of the Shriver family’s original home, from the attic to the saloon in the cellar.

Dates: Fridays & Saturdays starting on November 28, 20025 thru Desember 20th 

Tickets are $20/General Admission, $18/ACHS Members, and $15/Youth (k-12).
