These fantastic light displays are sure to brighten up your holiday!

Driving around town looking at Christmas light displays has become a family tradition for many families, it's a great inexpensive way to make Christmas memories that will last a lifetime. York County is blessed to have some amazing local displays. Below we've compiled a list of some of our subscribers' favorite light displays that are sure to excite and enchant your family this holiday season!

When visiting these local displays please remember the following:

~Respect the neighbors! None of these shows can continue without the blessings and support of the neighbors.

~Don’t block traffic

~Don’t block or use driveways

~No loud music, engines or horns

~Some locations do not have a physical address so we've tried our best to give you a general idea of the area where the display is located so give yourselves time to find them.

York County Displays 

1.Kim's Krypt Winter Wonder Trail 

FUN WITH LIGHTS AND CHEER!

Open Weekends November 28th – December 28th weekends, Fri. – Sun.

Hours: 6pm-9pm

Admission is just $10.00 per person 

Children 3 and under are Free!

Purchases can be made online or at the ticket window with cash or credit card (please note $3 convenience fee on credit card purchases)


2. Christmas Magic 2025 A Festival of Lights

Christmas Magic is an annual light show at Rocky Ridge County Park that is now in its 42nd season of bringing holiday joy to the York County area. There are hundreds of thousands of lights to enjoy as you wander through the 1/2 mile trail that is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Bring some cash with you to enjoy the Parks Food Stand that offers cookies and hot chocolate as well as Bricker's French Fries. 

Ticket Sales will begin on November 13 , 2025 at8:30am. 

Hours of Operation are 6-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 5-9 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

Ticket Prices

Adults (15 & up) are $12.00

Youth (6 to 14) are $7.00

Children (5 & under) are free.

Admission to Christmas Magic is by online reservation only. Reservations can be made up until the last minute while available. Come at the time of your choice and stay until closing. Reservations are required; no walk-ins will be permitted.  Timed admission limits the number of people attending Christmas Magic at one time, providing a better visiting experience and less waiting in traffic and lines. All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable unless the York County Parks closes the event due to weather and/or light outages. No other refund requests will be honored. Visit our FAQs page for more information. 

Weather-Related Cancellations: Our lights and displays can be temperamental in the presence of snow, rain, ice, and fog. They may require more than a day to dry out after the weather improves. Please check your email after 1:30 on the day of your tickets for any cancellation messages. If we cancel due to weather, you will receive a refund to your credit card on the following business day.  You can also call the Christmas Magic Hotline at (717) 840-7440, press 4, then 2, or visit us on Facebook or Twitter for trail conditions and closures.


3. Bright Nights York 

This year's Bright Nights promises to be absolutely magical, featuring over 3 million lights and counting that will transform every corner of WellSpan Park into a holiday paradise. The annual light show, which quickly became a regional favorite in its inaugural year, returns even bigger and more dazzling for its second season.

The 2025 Bright Nights experience introduces exciting new features that will make your visit unforgettable:

  • Three new illuminated photo opportunities – perfect for capturing those picture-perfect family moments
  • Eight brand-new scenic displays – from stunning rooftop features to shimmering installations on the Arch Nemesis
  • Synchronized light shows across the field that will leave you mesmerized

This year also includes two fantastic weekly traditions:

🐕 Bark-In-The-Park Thursdays – Bring your four-legged family members to enjoy the lights! Your furry friends are welcome every Thursday throughout the season.

🎅 Santa Sundays – Meet Santa and his elves for photos and Christmas list drop-offs inside the park every Sunday until December 21. Don't miss the special Bark-In-The-Park with Santa on December 21, where pets can get their photos with jolly old St. Nick!

Other character appearances & special events include: 

  • November 20: Bark in the Park kicks off the season
  • November 21: Live Reindeer visit
  • November 22: Wicked Characters bring Broadway magic
  • November 28: The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who spread holiday cheer
  • December 5: Snow Princesses and Snowman create winter wonder
  • December 6: First 500 visitors receive free Bright Nights beanies
  • December 13: Bluey and Bingo make a special appearance
  • December 20: Live Reindeer return
  • December 28: Nightmare Before Christmas characters close out the season

Plus, enjoy musical performances from local school groups and bands throughout December!

Traditions Bank continues its commitment to the community with the return of Spruce'd Up, featuring beautifully decorated trees by local companies to benefit area non-profits. Visitors vote for their favorites, and winning organizations receive cash prizes – it's holiday spirit in action!

Beyond the breathtaking lights, Bright Nights offers attractions for all ages:

5.Officer Webb’s Light Display

This huge display is located on Chestnut Hill Road York near Ore Valley Elementary across from Susquehanna Gardens. Please bring a canned good for the less fortunate


6. Weinrich's Family Christmas Lights

8.Michener’s Christmas Wonderland

500 South Front St Wrightsville, PA 17368

 Michener’s Christmas Wonderland is a FREE  drive-through and walk-through light display open daily 4-10 Weather Permitting. . Children can drop off letters  in the  Santa Letter box and Santa will write back if you include your address. Santa will also be visiting on select dates check the FB page for more details.  All donations will be used to help local families in need.  


9. Lights On Daugherty

1204 Daugherty Rd Felton, PA 17322

Listen to the lights! Tune to 100.3 FM on your radio.
Our light show will run from 5:30 PM until 10:00 PM (Sunday through Thursday) & from 5:30 PM until 11:00 PM (Friday & Saturday) until Jan 5, 2025.


10.Light Up the Night -Silver Spur 

3891 Silver Spur Dr York, PA 17402

This shows run October through January. There are shows for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's.

5 to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Turn your radio to 107.1


11.Dillsburg Lights

25 Cold Springs Rd, Dillsburg, Pennsylvania 17019

This shows run October through January with special themed displays for Halloween, Thanksgiving and New Years' 

Shows are  nightly 6 - 10 PM (weather permitting)

Music can be heard on 88.9 FM


12. Splash Supply Company Pondside Light Stroll

1941 Powder Mill Rd, York, PA 17402

Join us Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 8 p.m., Dec. 4 through Dec. 20 to see our gardens after dark and take in the glow of ponds and waterfalls like you’ve never seen them before!

Enjoy light displays, fire & water features and artistically illuminated ponds and waterfalls. Then warm up inside while shopping unique Christmas gifts.

Free with a non-perishable food donation for our local food bank!

13. Logan’s Reserve

Many of the homes in this development are decorated and look very festive. One of our favorites is the home in the corner of Player Blvd and W Ore St


14. Cherry Apple Court in Stewartstown PA

This Large Light Display is located before  Apple Hill in a development near the 2400 block of South George St


16.Country Club Road Display

This display is located on Country Club Rd heading west, before York Country Day School


17. Royal Square  in York, in the area of East King and South Duke streets


18. Hanover PA Christmas Lights

 4 Zachary Dr. Hanover Pa. We offer free photos with Santa Clause on Friday and Saturday nights and some week nights (weather permitting). We also do photos with pets. Lights are active from 5pm to 3am. 


19. 1606 Orange St, West York, PA 17404

This year, we're filling our truck with donations for local shelters, and we’re asking for your support. We're collecting canned food, pet food, pet supplies, new unwrapped toys, hats, gloves, and scarves. As a thank you, we're offering a FREE family-friendly event to share our Christmas joy! Come park, walk through our yard and garage, and enjoy the festive display we’ve created.

 The display will be up and running starting Nov 29th and will be available nightly until December 26th, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Let’s spread some holiday cheer together! .

20.Shiloh Veterinary Hospital

This residential display runs nightly from 5:15 pm to 2am. 


22.Lights on Glendale

Beautiful display of over 300 vintage and new blowmolds. The display runs nights from Thanksgiving thru New Years regardless of weather conditions.

Neighbors say this home has a very cool display you should check out this holiday season.

This highly recommended light display is a short ride from Southern York County and worth the drive. They collect non-perishable food for food banks so please bring a can or two with you.
