Join the worldwide musical celebration as York County tunes up for Make Music Day, a global phenomenon occurring each June 21 on the summer solstice. This year, we're thrilled to announce that Make Music Day is officially part of York Arts Week!
A Growing Tradition in Our Community
For years, Menchey Music has proudly championed this musical celebration in our area. Since 2022, they've partnered with the York County Cultural Alliance to expand the event's reach throughout the county. What began as a small initiative has blossomed into a vibrant, collaborative celebration centered in Downtown York, with satellite events at libraries and venues across the region.
What Makes Make Music Day Special?
Make Music Day isn't just a concert series—it's a participatory celebration that transforms our community through the universal language of music. Whether you're a seasoned musician or someone who simply enjoys tapping along to a beat, this day celebrates the natural music maker in all of us, regardless of ability.
